What's my excuse - practicing my Blond Act? That over 40 mind-loss thing? A couple of weeks ago I reported that there would be additional photos available in our website photo gallery. This requires a 3 step process of which I boldly completed steps 1 and 2 but totally went brain dead on step 3. My apologies to Ben Copeland, Mic Lauric, Phil Hess, Jason Weaver, Gil Gilreath, Rabbit, Glenn Perry, Trent Scofield & ID Russell. The newest photos are NOW posted under the May 2nd date.  If you get a minute, check out the nice snook, permit, barracuda, etc. caught this spring in south Florida.

 

Due to a colder, wetter spring than we have experienced in recent years, the fish that you all love to try to catch are just beginning to slowly trickle in. (I'm trying not to say the "T" word) It was 89 degrees at 1:30 this afternoon so I'm sure the trickle will increase to a flow and then soon they'll be pouring in. First official hook up was a little over a week ago. That said, Capt. Chris has next Tuesday & Wednesday open - can you make it? He also has July 21-24 available due to a schedule change. Call me to check Jason, Nathan & Scotts calendar.

 

Yesterday, Capt. Jr. Holland said he hadn't seen so many Trout & Redfish in one place in a long time.  They were hooking them up & throwing them back as fast as they could. Any body who's fished with Jr. knows how much it hurts his feelings to have to let fish go.  (yes they did keep their limit)

 

And, if you are at all interested in Flats Skiffs, all five of our skiff guides are now sporting about in Hells Bay Boatworks Flats boats. Capt. Scott Fain just took delivery of his new boat last week. I'm thinking they (Hells Bay) should come do a photo shoot - these guys not only look hot, they can REALLY fish.
