Well we have dried out starting this week. We had a very rainy June! There
was some fish around but it was either rough or raining. We have been still
catching cobias in the Gulf and some permit too. The permit have been coming
out when the sun would come out. Live blue crabs on a Hank Brown jig have
been working best but they will eat  shrimp and jig too. The dolphin have
been spotty but some are around. There has been lots of tuna birds that have
been taking up your time while you are looking for dolphin. On the bottom
the mutton snapper and grouper are biting well. Live pinfish or grunts will
work for that! There still some tarpon around the bridges at night but it
has been a late bite well into the night.
Tight lines,
Capt. Jack Carlson
