The spanish bite today was great!!! If you are into numbers and action today was the day.  Only pulled to rods, anymore and it would have gotten messy.  They kept enough for super then started releasing spanish after spanish.  I think both anglers had 25 to 30 a piece.  The fly rod action would have been crazy!

Plenty of bait in the creeks where the water temp has been 80 for a few days.  The ocean was 75 on an outing tide today.

Weekend fishing was a mixed bag. Sat fishing was rough w/ very little action.  Caught a hand full of spanish and a little tunny.   Monday The weather was great and the drum bite was on.  They ate everything we thru..  Darker flies were working better, w/ the water a little off in color.  The topwater bite was wild as hell,  the pups were blasting the top dogs 3' in the air.  3 reds pushed the 33' mark.  Big marsh bullies taking line and dragging the skiff.

Earlier in the week !!

Some big fish continue to be taken off the beach. Big Blues are mixed in w/ the drum. The marshes are loaded w/ plenty of puppy drum. Most boats are catching 20 plus fish during a tide. The bite on the fly has been great.

Spanish are everywhere, w/ a good # of fish of 5 pounds being taken.

The offshore report is dolphin plenty of them! A few blues were caught in the past week, one pushed 500 pounds (blue marlin)..  The Big Rock Blue Marlin tourn. is rt. around the corner..

Weather and fishing couldn't be better,
