May 6, 2006.  Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit all red hot as the best of Grand Slam Season heats up!

With the Tarpon migration in full swing, we are casting to strings, daisy chains and laid up Tarpon on both the Atlantic and Gulf side flats.  NOW IS THE TIME TO BE IN THE KEYS FOR SOME INCREDIBLE TARPON ACTION!

Today I was teaching a FIRST TIME FLY ANGLER AND HE JUMPED TWO AND NEARLY LANDED A THIRD 80 POUND TARPON. For those anglers who want some Tarpon season dates, there are still a few dates left in May and June to battle the Mighty Silver King on the long rod.
