Just a quick note to thank those of you who have called & emailed asking after us here in Apalachicola. Judging by the news coverage from our west, we are so extremely fortunate because for the most part we suffered little additional damage from Katrina. The bridges are open to travel, our businesses are open for commerce and our hearts and prayers go out to the storm victims.

 

Forgotten Coast Forecast: The rest of the week they predict winds 5 to 10 and 20% chance of rain. (usual summer forecast here is 40%) Fishing after a storm is usually good. Please come if you can!
