Finally, those kings have gotten off of AR-315.  Went to the reef yesterday afternoon.  There was a dive boat there.  I asked them if they had seen any trout while they were on the bottom.  Said they hadn't.  So what do you think happened two minutes later?  Caught a trout.  Then another.  And another.  We got into them hand over foot for an hour or more before it got dark and we had to go.

Albie fishing is good still.  For some reason Saturday was a wash.  Luckily I had gone redfishing in the morning and we had a great time releasing redfish one after the other.  We got them on fly, spoon and shrimp under a float, drifted over the oyster bars.

I am thinking that the albie fishing is going to be quite good for the rest of the fall.  I'm also hoping that the speckled trout fishing picks up at the jetty soon.  It's a bit late getting started this year.  Any day now.  A few fish have probably already been caught there but not the big rush.
