About Your Kayak Fishing Guide Who
Is Harry Hall? While still in high school Harry worked as a mate on offshore charter boats fishing gulf stream waters off Virginia and North Carolina for blue and white marlin, sailfish, tuna, dolphin fish, striped bass, and giant bluefish. During the off-season he would earn money building custom fishing rods. An avid fly angler, Harry cast his first fly into the ocean in 1973 and has been actively involved in fly fishing ever since. He was a frequent contributor of fly fishing articles to Carolina Adventure Magazine. From 1997 to 2000 he published a subscription newsletter “Mid-Atlantic Fly Fishing Reports” a monthly how-to where-to guide for coldwater, warm-water, and saltwater fly anglers fishing in waters from the Carolina’s up through Delaware. |

Harry started Kayak fishing in 2000, and it quickly became a real passion. In 2001 he became the first kayak fishing guide ever granted a National Park Service permit to operate in the Cape Hatteras and Cape Lookout National Seashores. With three decades of experience fly fishing the shallow waters throughout all of south Florida, Harry knows the waters in a multitude of areas from Cedar Key to Key West, and from Key West back up to the Mosquito Lagoon, if it’s in shallow water, he’s been there and done that. |
